About PLZ Profi: Tools for Dispatching and Logistics
PLZ Profi is a free toolkit for dispatchers, freight forwarders and warehouses: a postcode radius search for 10 European countries, a 3D loading metre calculator and templates for everyday work. Built from day-to-day dispatching, not on a drawing board.
Built by professionals, for professionalsBorn in the dispatch office
PLZ Profi is run by a dispatcher with an IT background. The idea came from daily work: on new or rare routes, the question “which postcode areas lie within the radius, and in which direction?” costs time every single time, with a map, a spreadsheet and a freight exchange open side by side. Nobody needs that for regular routes, but for everything else there was no fast tool.
That is why PLZ Profi is built the way dispatchers work: enter a postcode, choose a radius, copy or export the result. No registration, no installation, and features such as postal regions, the compass and road distances that genuinely help on a freight exchange.
What PLZ Profi can do today
Three tools that work together in everyday logistics.
Postcode radius search
Places and postcodes within up to 100 km for Germany, Austria and eight more EU countries. With postal regions, a compass filter, export to CSV, Excel and PDF, plus road distances and drive times for Germany and Austria.
Open the radius search ➔3D loading metre calculator
Loading metres, pallet spaces and weight for semi-trailers, drawbar combinations, vans and containers. Paste load lists as text or a screenshot; text recognition runs directly in your browser.
Open the calculator ➔10 EU countries
Dedicated pages for Germany, Austria, France, Poland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Spain, Belgium, Hungary and Romania, each covering the specifics of the local postcode system.
See all countries ➔Templates
A fillable CMR consignment note, a vehicle overview with internal dimensions and pallet spaces, and a Euro pallet fact sheet. Free, no registration needed.

These principles apply to every new feature.
Fast, not flashy
A tool for daily work has to deliver a result in seconds. Function comes before looks, and every new feature is tested before it goes live.
Privacy-friendly
Searches, calculations and exports run in your browser. Search history and load lists stay on your device. Statistics and ads only load with your consent.
Open data sources
Place data comes from official and open sources such as OpenStreetMap or INSEE. The source for each country is listed openly on the EU country overview.
Shaped by real-world feedback
New countries and features follow feedback from dispatchers. Requests that help many users take priority.
How a new feature is made
From a tip from daily work to a finished feature.
- A real problem: A task in dispatching regularly costs time or leads to mistakes.
- Assessment: Can it be solved reliably, with clean data and in a legally sound way?
- Build and test: The feature is built and tested on desktop and mobile, including edge cases.
- Release: The feature goes live, and user feedback flows into the next version.
